Hello lovelies!
Thank you so much for joining me here on my Official Website, you have no idea how much it means to have you here.
I thought I would do something a little cutesy for my first blog post on here, so I have decided to give you a few fun facts about me!
First of all, HI!!!! My name is Samantha, but I hate when people call me Samantha, so please... call me Sam!
I have been writing since I can remember being able to write, really. Stories have always naturally come to me. That being said, my first ever piece that I completed was a Fan-Fiction of James Patterson's Maximum Ride Series. I spent the entire summer of my 7th grade year writing a snuff piece where I added myself in as a character, and it was dreadful. There were no paragraph spaces, no proper grammar, terrible punctuation, and god awful story dynamics... it was 700 pages of a Microsoft Word document that was essentially word vomit from a 13 year old's brain!!! I wouldn't trade that experience for the world, though. I learned so much and that is why I am here today!
I am a First Degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo, and worked as a TaeKwonDo instructor for six years. In that time, I taught myself how to read and write in Korean and to speak/comprehend basic phrases. Of course... this was before K-pop was cool (2014-2019 womp womp), so I was actually teased for my obsession... which is fine lol. I knew I could kick them in the head if I wanted to.
I have a Bachelor's Degree (A BSc (Hons) to be specific!) in Applied Psychology, and I am working towards my Master's. Every single one of my works has a heavy influence of Psychology and Mental Health Awareness behind them. I do this because I believe it is important to show that everyone, no matter their mental illness, neurodivergence, or other idiosyncratic quirks is completely and wholly worthy of love and respect.
I am Autistic! I have been living my whole life in a world I don't quite understand... but I think that is so beautiful. Being able to learn something new every day is my goal!
So there we are! Just a few crazy facts about me! I plan on being more involved with my blog now that I am building a decent base of friends and connections through social media (Mostly Threads... HEY BESTIES!). I like to end everything with a quote, so here you go!
“When you don’t feel beautiful, look at your true reflection. You are a miracle made out of stars,my love, you are stardust perfection.” ― Christy Ann Martine
I hope you stick around, this is a journey that I am really excited for! As always, remember that you are worthy, you are loved, you are appreciated, and you are AMAZING!
I love you!!
Sam
